Connie Albers

What began with a simple question from her husband, Tom, “Would you prayerfully consider homeschooling?” began a journey that changed her family legacy forever. And established her as a national speaker and leader in the community.

After raising five children and homeschooling for 21 years, Connie continues to share with parents across the country equipping and supporting them in their journey. She helps parents catch a vision for their family, build strong family relationships and accomplish their goals.

Although she can speak on all subjects of homeschooling her most requested topics are preparing for the high school years, homeschooling teenagers and getting into college.

Throughout her homeschooling years she consistently challenged herself personally and professionally to tackle new projects, accept new positions and refine her skills.  In addition to homeschooling she has worked as a Senior Strategist for US Congressional campaign, served as a Director and Board Member for a non-profit state homeschool organization and created a Communications Division as part of the re branding process which lead to teaming with Marketing Strategist to develop, assemble and execute a powerful grassroots community. The key was knowing how to balance the needs of her family while trusting God to open and close the doors along the way. She believes, just because you can doesn’t mean you should. There are seasons in life, so don’t be afraid to say No! Homeschooling takes work and time to do it well.

All five of her children have the honor of being University of Central Florida Knights. Three have graduated and two are currently enrolled. She understands what it takes to keep all the plates spinning and finish well. Together they have been working in the college ministry at their church and leading weekly bible studies in their home.
