HOMESCHOOL DAY AT BOTANICA!
Post Image

Get out of the house and come to the Gardens!!  TPA and Botanica have partnered to bring homeschool families a special day at Botanica each Spring.

Spring WILL come again, and this is a great way to spend time with your children and homeschooling friends!  Tip-toe through the tulips! Come enjoy a morning in the Gardens and see what Botanica has to offer.

At the 2011 Open House, there were several stations for parents and children to visit:

•  Plant a flower garden in an egg carton to take home.
•  Build a “human” tree with your friends and find out how each part of the tree helps the other parts.
•  Go on a Garden scavenger hunt and see if you can find everything on the list.
•  Perform some soil experiments while learning what makes dirt.
•  Make a flower craft to take home.

We’re looking forward to another great Botanica Day in 2012!

Watch the newsletter and website for more information closer to the Spring of 2012 for dates and times.
